Pineapple Margarita Cocktail
This Pineapple Margarita is a refreshing twist on the classic margarita, combining the vibrant flavors of tequila and triple sec with the tropical sweetness of pineapple juice and a zesty kick of fresh lime. Perfectly balanced with a hint of simple syrup and served in a salt-rimmed glass, this cocktail is a delightful escape to paradise in every sip.
What do we need for our Pineapple Margarita Cocktail?
FOR 2 PORTIONS
- 12 cl tequila
- 6 cl triple sec (orange liqueur)
- 6 cl fresh lime juice
- 12 cl pineapple juice
- 3 cl simple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- Pineapple wedges and leaves (for garnish)
- Coarse salt (for rimming the glasses)
- Crushed Ice
How do we make our Pineapple Margarita Cocktail?
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of each margarita glass. Dip the rims of the glasses in coarse salt to coat them.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, pineapple juice, and simple syrup (if using). Add a generous amount of ice to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled.
- Fill the prepared glasses with ice. Strain the margarita mixture evenly into the glasses over the ice.
- Garnish each glass with a pineapple wedge and two leaves on the rim.
Our Pineapple Margaritas are ready to be enjoyed! The brave amongst us can add some chili for an extra kick. And the best: We can always adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup, and we can also add a splash of soda water for some fizz if desired. Cheers!
